Cody Brown

Cody Brown is a Texas attorney born and raised in Tyler, Texas, with a deep-rooted connection to East Texas and a strong commitment to family, service, and the practice of law.

Cody began his legal career serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Gregg County, where he gained valuable courtroom experience handling criminal matters and representing the State of Texas. His time as a prosecutor provided him with a strong foundation in trial advocacy, litigation strategy, and courtroom procedure, while allowing him to serve the community and advocate for justice.

Following his time with the Gregg County District Attorney’s Office, Cody transitioned to civil litigation and joined Boyd Boyd & Giddens as an Insurance Defense Attorney. In this role, he represents clients and insurance carriers in a variety of matters, drawing upon his prior prosecutorial and courtroom experience to effectively advocate for his clients.

Outside of his legal career, Cody is a dedicated family man who values the importance of family, community, and personal relationships. His East Texas upbringing continues to shape his approach to both his professional and personal life.
